PPNS-Girls of Steel Robotics

 Tammy Belivacqua, 17 from Jeanette, teaches two members of Girls of Steel Robotics about different parts of the robot making process. Belivacqua is the mechanical leader of the manipulator sub team.

This robot, Watson, was the Girls of Steel Robotics robot from last years national competition. Each girl wears red polka dot bandanas and plaid shirts to mimic the teams mascot, Rosie the Riveter.

Pennsylvania voters flood in and out of Epiphany Church located in front of Consol Energy Center. Voters get the chance to "vote and vax", in which voters can choose to get a free flu vaccine while practicing their right to vote.

Obama/Biden banners lace the front entrance of Epiphany Church while voters enter. Current president, Barrack Obama is running against, Republican candidate, Mitt Romney in the 2012 Elections.

PPNS-Wildcards

Nicole Bloch creates these upcycled rings out of old computer keyboards and sells them at Wildcards in Lawrenceville. Upcylcing is gain lots of popularity in the crafting world, as well as in the Pittsburgh area.
Whimsical Wonders is a company, created by Mellissa and Lew McCabe, that creates these upcycled wind chimes out of kitchen utensils. These fun wind chimes are sold at Wildcards in Lawrenceville.

Deadline

 Downtow Pittsburgh continues to be plagued by the reminants of Hurricane Sandy mid-afternoon on Nov. 1. Residents and commuters bundle up and keep their umbrella's close during these fridgid days.
Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh still feels the threats of Hurricane Sandy during the work day on Nov. 1. Commuters grab little pick-me-ups at lunch to bare with the dropping temperatures.
